AlteredVerse is an Alternate Multiverse created by Quantis1. It begins after the final battle/finale of Underverse season 1 knows a different outcome. This page is an introduction/prologue to it and its characters.
Story[]
Prologue[]
When Error and Ink started to fight, US, UF, and UT Sans joined, and so did Nightmare, Killer and XChara. They weren’t agreeing on anything, and all had different goals, but one thing was clear. They wouldn’t let Ink bring back that freak of XGaster. And all together, they destroyed Ink. This, is where things start to get interesting, and that fates split.
Ink’s disappearance[]
He was on the verge of death but still alive. Error was preparing to land a fatal hit, when Ink began to glitch. It was like... something was erasing it out of existence. It was... the punishment of Creators, for having tried to trick everyone. Without a sound, Ink disappeared, and everyone thought they’d never hear about him again... oh boy, were they wrong...
Nightmare and Dream’s last fight[]
Nightmare rushed to get XGaster’s soul, but Dream appeared and attacked him. After a long fight, Dream understood he couldn’t win like this. So he got the last positivity apple out of his chest, fused it with an arrow, and shot it. The projectile was so fast and powerful that Nightmare couldn’t dodge it. And the arrow hit him, goo was thrown away from his body, and as Dream felt himself falling apart, Nightmare was back to normal.
XGaster’s fall[]
The three Sanses took the vial with his soul in it, and used it to find where XGaster was hiding. With Error, that had made a deal with them, they killed XAlphys and beat him. After this, they decided to lock him in the only place where he couldn’t do anything : the Anti-Void. They thought that even with his soul, he was harmless in it without the Overwrite button. And Error decided to leave him like this, but soon, he’d have a big surprise...
Redemption Time Trio[]
A little while after the previous events, we find out that Killer has joined the Murder Time Trio. But after some events that would be too long to be explained here, Dust and Horror refuse to keep doing this, and want to go back to the good side like before. With the support of Color Sans, Killer thinks about joining them, but the return of a friend will... "change his mind".
Arc 1 : Yet Glitchier[]
The first arc is about the story of Error (now Fixed) creating an army to fight the return of XGaster (now Supreme Error), as well as his journey to accept who he is.
Arc 2 : Darkest Verse[]
After Supreme Error was killed, Fixed now lives a life of making amends when his path crosses the one of Dream, now emotionless ever since he sacrificed his apple, and Nightmare who has become guardian of all feelings, and is seeking a place to plant a new tree of Feelings. But the reunion will be cut short by terrible news. Corrupted Nightmare is back, for Killer had kept a vial of his negativity goo in case his boss would ever need to regenerate, and now the goo has broken out and taken over Killer’s soul to get a new corpse. Nihilis is born.
Arc 3 : The Ultimate Protector[]
The final arc of AlteredVerse. After being sent in the coma during the final battle against Nihilis, Fixed makes a terrible discovery : Ink is still alive, trapped in inexistence, outside of the Multiverse. Now a walking corpse covered by paint and ink, and feeling nothing but pain and fury, Specter!Ink is determined to reincarnate, and destroy the entirety of AlteredVerse to make the Creators pay. Ready to finally fulfill his debt to all the AUs, Fixed and all his friends engage in their final battle to decide once and for all the fate of this strange Multiverse…
Other fates[]
- The three Sanses have gone back to their original AUs, we never saw them again.
- Desperate for losing everything, XChara disappeared. It is said that he committed suicide in his failed XTale.
- Outertale was left scarred for ever, with places destroyed, and no Sans.
